Description: Our group will received a specialized
presentation from State officials on hot topic international policy issues. We
will also learn about internship and employment opportunities within the
department, including specific career path advice and strategies. If you’re
thinking about a career related to international affairs, this trip is for you!

Description: GCSA and the Global Communities staff are
pairing up for a fantastic service opportunity in DC. We will be
working with Restore Mass Ave, a volunteer group who works to beautify one of
DC's iconic landmarks. On this day we will be planting trees to improve the
environmental quality of the area. It is a fantastic opportunity for Global
students seeing that this is the last service event of the year. Plus, we will
be meeting with the ambassador from either China or Brazil that day as a
reward! Both countries have interesting perspectives on environmental issues.

focused on “Covering a Catastrophes” during our visit. This is a special
