The Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) is seeking interns (in the Washington, DC area and virtual) to assist the Executive Director in the administration and operation of the organization. FEA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to increasing access to study abroad for underrepresented US undergraduate students through the provision of scholarships.
Because FEA is small-staffed organization, interns will
get hands on experience in a variety of areas and will have the opportunity for
meaningful involvement in shaping the direction of the organization. Areas of
involvement will include database management, fundraising, marketing and
program development.
This internship is perfect for international education
students that would like to gain valuable experience in the field as well as
the non-profit sector. Start date and hours per week can be flexible. We are
looking for both summer and fall semester interns. Please note, this is an
unpaid internship.
Please send resume and a paragraph indicating why you are
interested in the position, why you are a good fit, and availability to kmcphail@fundforeducationabroad.org
(please include “FEA Internship” in the Subject Line).
More information about our organization and internships
can be found at www.fundforeducationabroad.org.
Thanks,
Kate McPhail
Executive Director, FEA
