Sedillo discusses struggles for dignity and self-determination in Mexico today.
Sedillo presents a breakdown on the supposed “war on drugs,” with updates from
Michoacán and Guerrero as well as a broader analysis of the effects of the US
military political economy on Mexico and the Mexican people. The stories in the
news today is about Mexican crime and corruption, but what about the role of
crime and corruption in the USA?
Simón Sedillo is an independent
journalist and a documentary filmmaker. His diverse projects focus primarily on
the effects of neoliberalism and militarism on indigenous communities,
immigrant communities, and communities of color in the US and Mexico.
