Project Assistant Internship with the American Institutes for Research

The American Institutes for Research (AIR) programs apply science to address real world issues on behalf of clients that include federal and state agencies, international development agencies, leading foundations, school districts and private businesses.and our experts are a frequent source of information and guidance for policymakers, clients and the news media. 

The Research Assistant Intern will support projects and/or activities through such tasks as literature searches and reviews, analysis of literature, and administrative support necessary to carrying out field research or monitoring and evaluation activities.

Specific activities will include:
• Conducting research on countries identified for case studies.
• Preparing information about countries identified for pilot studies for data collectors.
• Formatting simple tables and page layouts of deliverables to the client.
• Preparing materials for meetings with external experts or client.

Qualifications:

Opportunities are available for students seeking their BA/BS with an interest in International Development, Education, or a related field. Candidates must have an outstanding academic record, excellent writing skills, and experience with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
