EDHI 488P: Understanding, Power, Identity and Privilege - Summer Course 6/22-7/8

Looking for an interesting and thought-provoking 3-credit class this summer.

Consider taking EDHI 488P: Understanding, Power, Identity and Privilege.
The course will meet on M/W from 4pm to 7pm, June 22nd to July 8th.
The class is open to all students.  Course topics include bias (including your own); systems of power and privilege, historically oppressed groups and the shifting landscape of marginalization; practice theories (e.g., ally models); and strategies for addressing injustice in the context of education.

The course instructor is Domonic Rollins (rollins1@umd.edu).

Please see attached flier for more details.
