Summer I (2015): Tuesdays 5:00-7:00 PM (Brief Application Required) (1 or 0 credits)

Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Economics, and Government and Politics students were all either awarded or received honorable mention as NSF Graduate Research Fellows in 2015! The BSOS graduating seniors who received these awards will enter graduate school next year fully funded to start their PhD studies and research. This gives them a huge advantage at the beginning of their graduate careers.

Want to take a course this summer that helps you prepare your application for an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship! 

Associate Dean and Professor Carl Lejuez is offering a summer 2015 workshop to walk you through preparation of an outstanding application for the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship! This is an incredible opportunity to be mentored by Dr. Lejuez, who is an accomplished researcher and who has had great success mentoring students in preparing funded social sciences grants.

You will be notified of your acceptance by May 15, 2015.  If accepted, then you will have the option of registering of a  1 credit class in Summer I, if you wish. A non-credit option is also available, but you must still apply online to participate. Note that this opportunity is primarily for BSOS Undergraduate students. However, other students may inquire about a seat on a space-available basis.
