AASD presents: "Engaging Black Diversity : A Conversation with UMD Students" 3/9, 3:30-5 pm

University of Maryland is a diverse campus with a significant immigrant student body with nationalities from over 114 countries. This rich diversity contributes to misunderstandings at times and misconceptions as a result of myths and stereotypes. This discussion will provide the opportunity for STUDENTS to engage with one another and with faculty to talk about race, identity, class, immigrant status, and social mobility amongst an increasingly diverse Black community.
