Fall Semester Internships in Government and Politics

Fall internship opportunities with CAPC-- internationally-related positions may count toward the GC Global Experience requirement.

The Center for American Politics and Citizenship (CAPC) and the Department of Government and Politics offer three exciting internship programs to help University of Maryland undergraduates gain real-world experience in government coupled with classroom training: the Maryland Internship Program (MIP), Capitol Hill Internship Program (CHIP), and Public Policy Internship Program (PPIP). Participants will have the opportunity to intern in federal, state and local government offices and agencies for a semester, earning course credit and valuable experience.

Applications are currently being accepted for the Fall 2013 Session of MIP, CHIP, and PPIP.
