The Andi Leadership Institute for Young Women (ALI) is a training
and education program that will help young women, both domestic and
international (ages 18-22), to develop the necessary peacebuilding skills to
become leaders in their communities. ALI will launch our pilot program this
August 2013 with 4 American women and 4 women from the MENA region. The three
week program will focus on developing leadership and peacebuilding skills,
bridging cultural divides, and mentorship. We will then work to place the young
women in an internship for 3 months in their home communities after the 3 week
seminar in DC.
