The Department of Spanish and Portuguese, the School of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures, the U.S. Latina/o Studies Program, and students in Spanish 408F and USLT 202 invite you to join us for a collaborative performance featuring D.C. poet, artist, and performer Quique Aviles and Span 408F and USLT 202 Students. "The Memoirs of Speedy Gonzales" brings the iconic mouse cartoon out of retirement for an hour--and-half of spoofing and reflection on the state of Latinas/os in the United States today.
